How To Get a Bike From SPIF

Appointments are now available!

1. Get a Voucher Here

Please complete this voucher and get it signed by an agency or someone that knows you, for example; Crossroads House, Portsmouth Housing Authority, DHS, etc. Bring the form to your appointment or email it.

2. Make An Appointment
   
Appointments are typically on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 5 and 6 pm. Please drop us a line and email SPIF@seacoastbikes.org. 

If you need to cancel an appointment. Tell us as soon as you know. If you miss 2 appointments without informing us, you will lose eligibility.

3. Get a Bike 

Meet us at Port City Makerspace, 68 Morning St, Portsmouth, lower parking lot. Don’t forget your voucher. Bicycles come with a lock, light, and helmet.
 
The bikes are used and given out “as is,” without warranty or guarantee. You are responsible for safe riding and for maintenance.

We work with current SPIF volunteers to provide bikes for SPIFers:

  • A fully refurbished bicycle

  • A new helmet, lock, and safety lights

  • Bike safety brochure

  • An appreciation of riding for fun, recreation, and as transportation
