How about you and your bike/e-bike/trike/cargo bike/unicycle... join us on Saturday, December 2 for the Portsmouth Holiday Parade (aka the slowest slow roll of the year)?!?
You get to:
- walk-ride the mile of the parade along with high school bands, local businesses' floats, holiday-themed flash mobs and of course Santa in the bucket of a fire truck;
-have an excuse to decorate your bike with lights (one of the board members always bring extra colored lights in case you find your bike a little dim);
-ride in the middle of the road, the wrong way on a one-way street in downtown Portsmouth (that's worth something, no?);
-help us hand out bike lights to those who need one thanks to the Free Bike Lights program;
-hang out with the greatest, most bike-friendly, smartest folks on the Seacoast... other SABR members! :-P
-REPRESENT THE BIKE-FRIENDLY COMMUNITY ON THE SEACOAST. That's you!
Did we get your attention? Will you join us? You can rsvp on our event page or you can just show up at 5:00ish pm on Saturday, December 2 outside Otto's restaurant.
