Sunday, September 26, 2021, meet at 8:45 am at Lafayette Playground
Our first “Portsmouth Public Art Slow Roll” was a big hit, with great conversation and learning about some of the many murals and sculptures in town. Most moving was the African Burying Ground and the brand new mural of Ruth Blay, the last woman hanged in New Hampshire. Old favorites included the Prescott Park Whale and “Shark/Dove” mural, and new favorites included the murals at Dwyers Pub and the Foundry Garage.
We will do the same route on Sunday, September 26, 2021.
