SABR wants Portsmouth residents of all ages to safely enjoy the benefits of cycling – a great way to do errands, commute, explore the city, get to school, and just have fun. Safety includes riding well-maintained bicycles. We recently donated a new bicycle workstand for the public to use. The Department of Public Works kindly installed the unit outside our great public library. We care about safety and ask our city and council to do even more in the future to expand the infrastructure of dedicated bike lanes throughout the city.
The deluxe stand is a fully equipped bicycle repair station, featuring tools securely attached to retractable cables to prevent tangling. It is a fitting addition to any park, trail, city corner, or apartment complex providing cyclists an easy, accessible means to keep their bikes rolling.
