SPIF's Mission
Seacoast Pedal It Forward (SPIF) is a SABR program that was started in spring 2024. Its mission is to provide people with access to bicycles for transportation and recreation by refurbishing donated bicycles and keeping usable bicycles out of the landfill. SABR and SPIF promote bicycle riding as part of a healthy and active lifestyle.
SPIF Volunteers & Community
Do you have a bicycle to donate? We welcome bicycle donations.
Our team of SPIF volunteers is based at Port City Makerspace. They meet weekly to receive and refurbish donated bicycles, and to “re-cycle” them for new use. These bikes offer reliable transportation, and each bike comes with a helmet, bike light, and lock. By refurbishing bicycles, we are also keeping usable bikes out of the landfill.
